Bario is located in the Kelabit Highlands in the northeast corner of Sarawak, a dense jungle above 1000 meters above sea level. The highland is located in the heart of Borneo mountains, on the border between Sarawak and Kalimantan. Due to geographical factors, this wonderful place is isolated from the rest of the world. The Kelabit people are one of the best rice farmers in Borneo, Bario rice is mainly grown. It has the best rice grains and unique flavors. It is derived from a pure and pollution-free environment and is therefore considered to be the best rice in Sarawak.
